Soldiers and Flag with V (Victory) - 15 piastre

This definitive stamp highlights Lebanon's modern statehood and national defense forces by presenting a large, billowing Lebanese flag featuring the central green cedar tree. Below the unfurled banner, a helmeted soldier holds the flagpole aloft alongside a row of fixed bayonets pointing skyward, with the design framed symmetrically by vertical laurel branches on the left and right borders. This vibrant carmine-and-grey engraving carries a strong message of sovereign protection, military readiness, and patriotic allegiance. Issued by the Lebanese Republic, the postal design instills national pride and visually reinforces the state's newly won independence through symbols of unified national service.
